Developing a Business Plan
Montell & Partner supported a company that had recently been acquired by a Private Equity firm in their development of a new business plan. The assignment included strategy development and organization design as well as defining actions necessary to reach the goal and forming KPIs for future follow up.
Prior to the development of the strategy, interviews and desktop research were conducted in order to get an understanding of the company and the market it acts on as well as to identify the key success factors. The mission and vision of the company as well as the future goals, strategies and activities to fulfill these were then developed during several workshops facilitated by Montell & Partners. A consensus was reached between top management, the board and the new owners and the outcome from the workshops was used as the foundation of the new business plan.
In addition to describing the current business, Montell & Partners analyzed several areas of interest to the company in order to identify new business opportunities. These were then presented to top management for further investigation and possible expansion of the current business.
The conclusions from the workshops and studies were documented and a business plan was created in three versions (board, management, employees).
Montell & Partners has continued to work as a supporting advisor to the company to help them ensure the company vision and realize the goals of future company growth.
