Due Diligence

When an interesting object has been found, a thorough strategic due diligence is usually performed in order to secure that the information provided is accurate. Montell & Partners is primarily conducting commercial due diligences where financial and market aspects such as macro trends in the industry are investigated.

The work focuses both on understanding the current management team and their visions for the future of their company such as what strengths they believe should be nurtured. This vision is then compared with the goals the client has for its acquisition and what they want from their investment e.g. in terms of pay-back and possible synergies with other investments. The commercial due diligence results in a valuation of the company and a report on the company’s potential for the client.
